BeC

When describing Rebecca Snoddy, this picture says it all!! Shes loud, out going and someone you would not want as an enemy. She's half Italian, and just ask her she's very proud of it. But when looking at her the one thing that everyone notices' is that this girl can dress! "My favorite thing to wear right now is a cotton a-line dress that is just comfortable and colorful" Rebecca says. "I love to put on my knee high gladiator shoes, and lots of bangles to spice up my little cotton dress!" Rebecca sees herself becoming a stylist and wants to make people stop and stare at what she has created with fabric, shoes and jewelry. Rebecca loves to shop at Forever 21 she says "it's perfect for my style right now trendy but doesn't break the bank" Talking to Rebecca anyone could tell that she isn't someone that people could miss " I love to make people notice me, if your not standing out than your just blending in with everyone else."

Men in Short Shorts??

The shorter the better is always what comes to mind when men think of womens shorts. But what about men? Designers such as Perry Ellis and Thom Browne are sending men down the runway in shorts shorter than womens. But is America really ready for men in short shorts? In Europe we have always seen men in shorts that come half way between a mans hips and knee, but in America we have always known men to have baggy shorts that are barely sitting on there waist. Short tight shorts have always been a symbol of women since the 60's. But when women started to take on rolls that only men could usually do, in the workfield, the women's fashion changed to a more masculine look, because men were seen as always being the main "bread winner." But now it seems as if Men and Women are reversing rolls in the workforce. Women are beginning to take higher positions in the buisness world then men. We even almost had or first Women run for president. So i think that with Women becoming more present in the workforce and making more money then men, its starting to influence Men's fashion. Therefore we are seeing a more feminine influence in men's fashion.
