Charlotte Native and former Project Runway contestent Carmen Webber is going to be the host of Charlotte, North Carolina's first ever fashion week. She was named top fashion designer in her class at Savannah College of Art and Design. Some of her work has been with Urban Outfitters, Steven, a division of Steve Madden along with appearing as a guest stylist on the Look for Less Show, and on VH1's "Get a Date" series. Shes also known for her and her partner Carmia Marshall, 2001 launch of the "Sistahs of Harlem" clothing line. The line started out as handbags and now has several wardrobing options to please her a-list clients, such as Jada Pinket-Smith and Alicia Keys. Webber will be the host at both Friday and Saturday events and will be on hand to autograph her book after her workshop on Saturday at 12pm.
